StatusShield is a self-service immigration compliance assessment tool. When you use our Service, YOU are the customer ordering an analysis of YOUR OWN public social media profiles. This is NOT:

• A background check ordered by employers, sponsors, or government agencies
• Legal advice or immigration consultation services
• A report that will be provided to or shared with USCIS or third parties
• A guarantee or prediction of visa approval or denial

2.2 Educational Purpose

Our Service provides educational information to help you identify potential discrepancies in your digital footprint that may be relevant to immigration applications. All reports and analysis are for YOUR personal use and should be reviewed with a licensed immigration attorney.

3. User Responsibilities

• Visa denials or immigration consequences
• Lost opportunities or employment
• Reliance on information provided by the Service
• Data breaches or unauthorized access by third parties

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

YOU MUST CONSULT AN IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY. Our Service is designed to facilitate discussion with your legal counsel, not replace it. We strongly recommend:

8. Payment and Refunds

Subscription fees are charged as described on our pricing page. All fees are in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing period.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
